Arizona Wedding Photographer & Videographer

Hey, I’m Tara. I'm a wedding photographer in Arizona who loves traveling (I create films as well!). I’ve captured weddings from the Pacific Northwest down to the Dominican Republic. I love the outdoors, Jane Austen novels (Pride and Prejudice anyone?), prefer the forest to the beach, once taught as an Adjunct Professor, and will always choose an Old Fashion. I'm a mom of 2 and a wife of 18 years to my high school sweetheart. Favorite talking points: Twilight and theology.

WHAT MAKES ME GOOD.

I could say it's the almost 600 weddings I have captured, or the International features, or even being named one of the Top 10 Engagement Photographers of the Year by Click & Company. But to be honest it's just good old fashioned hard work and ethics. I take what I do for you personally. I treat you how I would want to be treated. And I just create good art.

We all love a good trend, but your most important memories are not the time to experiment. I keep your images and films true to life. I'll both guide you in posing while catching those in-between moments. You will find me constantly on the move at every wedding looking for the moments you don't get to see as a bride or groom. And most importantly, I work with you in mind, not my portfolio.

"Six weeks prior to our wedding date, I gave birth to our second beautiful daughter. I reached out to Tara in hopes she could refer us to someone that does newborn sessions. I thought Tara only did weddings, but to my delightful surprise, she also does newborn sessions. She came to our home and did an amazing job capturing the love our growing family has for one another. Our first daughter was 19 months at the time so getting her to take a decent photo was a challenge, but Tara was so great and very patient. If there is a 3rd baby, I will be sure to use Tara again.

Fast forward to December, Tara and her assistant did an amazing job with our wedding photos. My husband was a bit of a jokester, and Tara was not phased one bit. She was even able to capture his antics on camera. I asked her to pick the photos for our wedding album (as that is too overwhelming choosing from 400+ photos), and I love every one she picked. She even put some of the funny ones of my husband."
